Wireless Control

Living Control’s choice of primarily wired connections gives our systems an unrivalled reliability and offers the flexibility to accommodate the very high bit-rate media, such as Full HD video, that purely wireless systems are unable to distribute.

Full system wireless control is possible however via PDAs, PCs and Macs or wireless hand-held devices like the Nokia N810 and iPhone. We’ve developed an interface that allows the N810 and iPhone to show our MusicBox-NT series Graphical User Interface (GUI) on their displays. Using the GUI, you have the freedom to select ‘by name’ artist, album, play list or TV channel in any room, and the ability to download, store, control and enjoy web content such as podcasts, music files and news wherever you are in the home.  Living Control’s ingenuity has transformed these wireless devices into mobile control panels for the entire Living Control system, placing a limitless choice of information and entertainment options at your fingertips.
